God's Word

Jesus said to His disciples, "Why are you so fearful?  How is it that you have no faith." 

In today's Scripture...,  Jesus and His Disciples are in a boat leaving Galilee where Jesus had just finished teaching, to go over to the other side of the Lake, to teach in the region of the Gerasene's.  To get there, they must cross the Sea of Galilee.  The sea sits low, and is surrounded by mountains.  Because of this, the sea is susceptible to sudden and violent storms.  As they are crossing, Jesus is asleep in the front of the boat.  When the storm hits the boat, the boat begins to fill with water, and the disciples are so afraid that they wake Jesus.  Jesus tells the wind..., "Peace, be still"  And the storm stops and there is great calm with the weather!  The Word says that...., "Jesus said to His disciples."  Believers!   Jesus said to His Believers...., "Why are you so fearful?"  Afraid!  Then Jesus asks His Believers..., "How is it that you have no faith?"  Trust in Jesus!  Amen!

Today..., our Scripture is challenging Believers of Jesus Christ.  Amen.  Believers are Jesus' disciples today.  You and I proclaim our love and faith in Jesus.  Hallelujah!    We trust in Jesus..., we trust in the will of God!  We have faith!  The disciples..., who lived and followed Jesus every day..., had faith.  Praise God!  The disciples who walked and talked with Jesus..., saw Jesus perform miracle after miracle..., had faith!  Believers..., confess faith!  Yet when the big storm hits..., Believers faith in Jesus can go away!  The Word is challenging us today!  The Word is talking to Believers today!  The Word says that..., "Jesus said to His disciples."  Believers!!!  Jesus is talking to Believers today..., not non-Believers!  Jesus is talking to His people..., to His disciples!  Jesus is talking to you..., Jesus is talking to me!  Believers!  Amen.

Today..., the storm hits you hard, and Jesus says to you..., "Why are you so fearful?"  Afraid!  Why are you so fearful?  It is only a storm!  Amen.  Whatever your storm is..., Jesus is asking you, "Why are you so fearful?  Yes you are going through some terrible stuff..., but Jesus is with you!  Why are you so fearful?  Jesus has already brought you through the storm!  Jesus has already performed many miracles in your life!  Hallelujah!  You believe in Jesus..., so why are you so fearful?  The Word is challenging us today!  Why are you so fearful?  You have Jesus in your boat..., riding with you while you go through your storm!  You have Jesus, who you proclaim your faith is in!  It's just a storm you are going through..., and Jesus is in your boat with you!  Afraid!  If you trust in Jesus..., why are you so fearful?.  Amen!

Today..., Jesus is asking His Believers, why are you so fearful?  Then Jesus also asks His Believers..., "How is it that you have no faith?"  Trust in Jesus!  If you believe in Jesus Christ, and Jesus is in your boat with you..., you have the power of Jesus with you!  This is the Jesus that you believe in!  This is the Jesus that has already brought you through many storms!  This is Jesus..., the Miracle Worker that has saved your soul!  This is Jesus..., Almighty Jesus..., God who came to earth in the flesh...., yeah..., that Jesus!  It is that Jesus..., your Lord and Savior!  So..., how is it that you have no faith?  Trust in Jesus!  Amen.

Today..., Believers in Jesus Christ are going through some storms.  No doubt about that!  The world is in the middle of an evil storm, that is powerful in its wickedness.  Today..., may be the worst storm that has ever been!  But Hallelujah!  You have Jesus riding with you in your boat!  Jesus is right there with you to take you through the storm!!  Jesus!  You do not have to be fearful..., just keep your faith in Jesus!  Jesus will bring you through your storm!  Jesus is with you..., to say to your storm..., "Peace,..., be still!  Trust in Jesus!  Thank you Jesus!  Glory to God!  Glory Hallelujah!  Amen.
