God's Word

"But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works."  Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works."

"For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."        

In today's Scripture..., James is speaking to Believers regarding faith in Jesus and works for Jesus.  The Scripture says..., "But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works."  Amen.  The Word says..., "Show me your faith without your works."  Hallelujah!  And the Word of God continues ..., "and I will show you my faith by my works."  Glory!  The Word concludes with..., "For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."  Glory to God!  Amen.

Today..., our Scripture is challenging Believers in the church who have faith in Jesus, but do not work for Jesus.  Amen!  These Believers believe that faith and work can be independent of each other.  The Word says..., "But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works."  Amen.  This is the argument of many in the church, that they are showing faith by coming to church..., and that the Servants in the church were called to work.  That there are two different groups of Believers in the church.  They are living with the attitude that "I have faith, and you have works".  Amen.  

Today..., the Word of God says to all Believers..., "Show me your faith without your works."  Hallelujah!  The Word is challenging us.  This challenge denies the possibility of faith without works.  Faith in Jesus drives Believers to work!  As Believers you were chosen by God and given gifts to work for God before you were born.  Those gifts become manifested in you when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  If you truly believe in Jesus Christ..., your gifts become available to you at that moment to serve God... and do the work that He has gifted you to do!  Hallelujah!

The Word challenges those who have faith without works, to show your faith without your works.  Then James says, as every Believer should say..., "and I will show you my faith by my works."  Glory!  This is a Word that is meant to challenge each of us.  If we love Jesus..., our faith in Jesus should drive us to work on behalf of Jesus!!  Faith drives the work!  Showing up to church and sitting in your seats..., is not working on behalf of Jesus!  The Word is trying to lift someone up today!  You have faith in Jesus..., show your work!!!  Glory Hallelujah!

Today..., the Word of God summarizes and gives the final Word on this subject..., "For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."  Glory to God!  Without Jesus Christ..., your body is dead.  You cannot have everlasting life with Jesus..., without Jesus!  And the Word is just as final and harsh for those who claim faith without work.  The Word says, "faith without works is also dead."  Amen.  That is the Word of God..., that is not the Pastor saying it, or the Teacher saying it..., or even the author saying it.  It is the Word of God!  Your faith in Jesus should compel you to work on behalf of Jesus.  Amen!

Today..., show your faith in Jesus, by working on behalf of Jesus.  Be alive in Jesus!  Let your faith in Jesus, put you to work for Jesus!  Glory Hallelujah!
