When Jesus saw the crowds (that needed teaching and healing), He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless; like sheep without a shepherd.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

Therefore, ask the Lord of the harvest (Almighty God), to send out workers into His harvest field."  

In today’s Scripture, the great servant of Jesus, the apostle Matthew, tells us of the time that Jesus called out the need for more workers, His servants, to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ..., to save people and redeem them to God.  Amen!  Jesus knew then, like He knows now, that it would take more than Himself and the twelve disciples, to spread the Gospel of Jesus so that the people all over the world would have the opportunity to be forgiven and receive salvation from God.  Today, the opportunity to spread the gospel and save more people is still there!  Hallelujah!  But Jesus is still looking for more workers!  And Jesus is still asking His followers, His Believers today, to pray to God that God may send more workers!  Amen!  Jesus is challenging Believers today!  Jesus needs more servants to do the work of harvesting the crop!  Jesus is also challenging His servants today!  Jesus servants need to pray to God to send more workers!  Glory Hallelujah!  Just as in the time of Matthew; the workers are not enough to bring in the harvest that is available through Jesus!  Glory to God!  Amen!  Our Scripture begins with..., "When Jesus saw the crowds (that needed teaching and healing), He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless; like sheep without a shepherd."  And the crowds that need teaching of the Gospel and healing from Jesus are even larger today!  Amen!  Our Word continues..., Then Jesus said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."  Jesus is speaking directly to His followers; there are not enough Believers who serve Jesus!  Jesus is speaking to you!  Amen again!  The Word of God tells us that Jesus said to His followers..., "Therefore, ask the Lord of the harvest (Almighty God), to send out workers into His harvest field."  Jesus is speaking to His followers.  If you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; Jesus is speaking to you!  Today..., Jesus sees a great multitude of people that need His teaching and His healing.  Hallelujah!  But Jesus also sees that He does not have enough workers!  So Jesus is speaking to you!  Jesus is telling you that there are people out there that could be saved; but He needs more workers!  Jesus is speaking to you!  Jesus is challenging His followers, to stop just following..., and start serving Him!  Jesus has work to be done; but He needs more workers!  If you are a follower of Jesus Christ; and you are not serving Him...,Jesus is speaking to you!  And if you are a servant of Jesus right now; Jesus is calling on you to ask God to bring in more workers!  Jesus is speaking to you!  Our Scriptures are very clear; Jesus has work to be done; but He needs more workers!  And Jesus has come to His followers, for you to do something about it. Jesus is calling out the need for more workers!  Jesus is speaking to you; Jesus is challenging you!  Jesus sees today, what He saw when He walked the earth.  The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few!  Jesus needs more workers!  And Jesus, your Lord and Savior..., is speaking to you!  Amen.

Today, our Scripture Guidance is a challenge from Jesus Christ to those who are His followers.  Jesus is looking at the world today, and sees multitudes that need Him to save them..., and redeem them to God!  But there are too many for His current disciples to get to.  Jesus is calling out the need for more workers!  Jesus is speaking to you; Jesus is challenging you!  Jesus sees today, what He saw when He walked the earth.  The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few!  Jesus needs more workers!  And Jesus, your Lord and Savior..., is speaking to you!  Hallelujah!  Now what are you going to do about it?  Amen.
