Jesus said to His host (who invited Him to dinner), "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sister; your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.
But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."

In today's Scripture..., the servant of Jesus, Luke; shares with us the time that Jesus had been invited to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee. When Jesus noticed that the guests were also prominent people, who were looking to be noticed by seating themselves at the tables that were considered to be the places of honor; Jesus told them a parable to teach them that one should not pick their own place of honor, but should pick the least important place; and allow the host to move them to higher places of honor. Amen! Jesus then spoke to the host of the dinner. And the guidance that Jesus gave to the host, applies to the hosts of gatherings today. Amen again! Our Scripture begins with..., Jesus said to His host (who invited Him to dinner), "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sister; your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid." As a host of the Gospel of Jesus; the servants of Jesus should not only share the Gospel of Jesus with those who already know Him. Amen! Our Word continues with this guidance from Jesus to the host of His Gospel..., "But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; and you will be blessed." The servants of Jesus must go out and seek those who do not know the Gospel of Jesus; so they may have the opportunity to eat from the bounty of God! And for each person that you feed the Gospel of Jesus that has never tasted the Word before..., you will be blessed! Amen again! And the Word of God tells us that Jesus says, that when we reach those that do not know the Gospel of Jesus; that...., "Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." The servants of Jesus may never know if those that they have fed the Gospel of Jesus will accept Jesus..., they will receive glory with God in Heaven! Glory Hallelujah! Jesus is speaking to His servants today! Do not be content to just share the Gospel of Jesus with Believers. Seek those who do not know the Gospel of Jesus; so that they have the opportunity to know Him. And do not worry that you may not see the people you expose to Jesus..., accept Jesus. For hallelujah..., you will receive glory from Almighty God when you arrive in Heaven at the glorious return of Jesus to claim His Believers! Glory Hallelujah! Amen. Jesus is speaking to you! You are the host of Jesus banquet! Amen.

While it is wonderful, and part of God's Will that the servants of Jesus encourage Believers by sharing the Gospel with them..., Jesus is challenging us that if we only feed those who have already eaten at the banquet..., we will never give an opportunity to feed someone who has never eaten! Amen! And every Believer that we serve the Gospel to; can serve it back to you..., so they can repay you! However, you can control who you invite to eat of the fruit of the Gospel of Jesus; and Jesus is speaking to you! Hallelujah! You are the host of Jesus banquet! Amen.

The work that Jesus calls His servants to do is to teach His Gospel to those who do not know it. In fact, Jesus said to His disciples (servants)..., "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)." Glory! To do that; the servants of Jesus must invite people who do not know Jesus..., to His banquet. Tell the truth! Jesus is speaking to you! You are the host of Jesus banquet! Amen.
